It is very easy to get from Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup to Odense. There is a direct train from the airport to Odense. The ride is approximately 1h 45 minutes. You can buy your train ticket at the airport.

If you approach Odense from the south by car you can take the road E20 going east. If you choose exit 53 (Blommenslyst) you can follow Middelfartvej (Road 161) to the city centre. In the distance you can catch a glimpse of the Cathedral.

It´s not far from Odense Railway Station to the city centre, where you can find many overnight accomodations. If you choose to stay on the outskirts of the city, you can take a taxi or bus from the station.
