Liveable City is a network establishing project aimed at creating the good city. The project is intended to generate a dialogue between the urban space and the people who bring life to it. Create a city centre buzzing with life, activity and human voices.
The networks in Odense are being created between public institutions and private companies. A transnational network is also being created between the partner cities in the Liveable City project.
Odense participates in the Liveable City project from 2003-2006 together with 5 other cities in the North Sea Region. The partner cities look alike by virtue of their historic city centres. The 6 partner cities in the Liveable City project are:
Trondheim (Norway), Lincoln, Norwich (England), Emden (Germany), Gent (Belgium), Odense (Denmark)
